Calvin Kattar is an American professional mixed martial artist who began competing in the lightweight and featherweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in 2017. As of April of 2026, he was ranked number 5 in the UFC featherweight rankings. Before joining UFC in 2017, he had put together an undefeated winning streak of 8–0 and was unbeaten in more than 7 years competing on the regional circuit primarily in his native region of New England. He holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He also owns and operates Combat Zone MMA, the longest-running mixed martial arts promotion in New England.

- He had started wrestling when he was in the 9th grade and had soon started excelling in the sport. He was ranked 8th in the state of Massachusetts (160 pounds category) and had also stood 5th at the Division I MIAA (Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association) State Championships in 2006, his senior year.
- After his high school graduation, he was unsure whether he should wrestle in college or not. Ultimately, he ended up giving up wrestling and began pursuing mixed martial arts instead.
- When he was 19 years old, he had received an opportunity to briefly train with fellow future professional mixed martial artists and . He had stated in an interview that these sessions had completely changed his view of the sport and had impressed upon him the need to train rigorously and relentlessly.
- At UFC 249, he was scheduled to face Jeremy Stephens on April 18, 2026. Just 10 days before the event though, the president of UFC had announced that the event had been postponed. The bout eventually took place on May 9, 2026. At the weigh-ins a day before the event, Jeremy missed weight, weighing in at 150.5 pounds, which was 4.5 pounds over the non-title featherweight limit. Consequently, the bout was carried out in the catchweight category, and Jeremy was fined 20% of his purse which went to Calvin. Calvin went on to win the fight via technical knockout in the 2nd round.
- As of September 2026, he had won 3 UFC Bonus Awards – all 3 being ‘Fight of the Night’.
