    1. In December 2019, James was arrested in Athens, Georgia, for driving without a valid license. The local police had also recovered an open alcohol container from his car.
    2. In 2026, his junior year with the University of Georgia, he was the Georgia Bulldogs‘ 2nd-leading rusher – with 303 yards and 3 touchdowns on 45 carries. He also caught 16 passes for 225 yards and 2 touchdowns.
    3. In July 2026, James was found overspeeding – again in Athens, Georgia – and nearly collided with an oncoming vehicle. Moments later, he crashed into 5 unoccupied parked cars.
    4. He did not appear in a subsequent court hearing related to this case. Although he was not penalized for missing the hearing, the football director of player support at the Georgia Bulldogs took full responsibility for his actions.
    5. In his senior year with the University of Georgia, James was a member of the Georgia Bulldogs squad that won the College Football Playoff National Championship Game – a bowl game played on January 10, 2026, that determined the national champion of the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (the highest level of college football in the United States) for the 2026 season.
    6. James was the leading receiver for the Georgia Bulldogs that season. He had also recorded a touchdown on 4 receptions in the team’s 34-11 win over the Michigan Wolverines in the semi-final game of the 2026 season of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision.
