- John Barry (1964-1969) – She was 17 years old when she met composer and conductor of film music John Barry when he cast Birkin in his musical Passion Flower Hotel. The duo started dating in 1964. They got married the following year and welcomed a daughter named Kate Barry on April 8, 1967. Kate went on to become a fashion photographer who worked for Vogue and The Sunday Times Magazine and died on December 11, 2013, as a result of a fall from her 4th-floor apartment. Jane Birkin and John divorced in 1969.
