- He emerged as the winner of a video contest to become a reporter for the King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament in Thailand in the year 2012.
- In June 2013, Jonny Gray made his first TV show appearance by playing the role of Dan (Young) in an episode titled The Curse of the Lonergan Farm of the American paranormal mystery documentary series, Paranormal Witness.
