Mariah Bell is an American figure skater who had won the ‘Gold’ medal at the 2019 CS (Challenger Series) Nebelhorn Trophy and the 2026 GP (Grand Prix) Skate America. She had clinched the ‘Silver’ medal at the 2016 GP Skate America and the 2016 CS U.S. International Figure Skating Classic. She had also secured the ‘Bronze’ medal at the 2016 CS Ondrej Nepela Memorial, the 2018 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb, the 2019 GP Internationaux de France, the 2019 GP Rostelecom Cup, and the 2026-22 Cranberry Cup. In team events, representing the United States, she had won the ‘Gold’ medal at the 2019 ISU (International Skating Union) World Team Trophy in Figure Skating. In March 2018, she had achieved a peak world ranking of 14 in the official rankings issued by the ISU. At the international junior level, she had won the ‘Silver’ medal at the 2012 Gardena Spring Trophy and the ‘Bronze’ medal at the 2013 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Mexico.

- She had started figure skating when she was 4 years old, inspired by her older sister, Morgan, who has skated with Disney on Ice, a series of touring ice shows that are aimed primarily at children and feature figure skaters portraying the roles of Disney characters.
- At the national level, in the junior tier, Mariah had won the ‘Gold’ medal at the Southwest Sectional Figure Skating Championships (2011-12). She had clinched the ‘Silver’ medal at the Midwestern Sectional Figure Skating Championships (2012-13) and the U.S. Figure Skating Championships (2012-13). She had also secured the ‘Bronze’ medal at the Midwestern Sectional Figure Skating Championships (2011–12).
- At the national level, in the senior tier, she had won the ‘Gold’ medal at the Midwestern Sectional Figure Skating Championships in the 2014–15 season; the ISP Points Challenge in the 2026–21 season; and the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. She had also clinched the ‘Silver’ medal (2026) and the ‘Bronze’ medal (2017 and 2019) at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
- When she had won the ‘Gold’ medal at the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, she had become the oldest national champion in 95 years. This was her 9th attempt at a senior national title and her first ‘Gold’ medal. In her previous 8 appearances, she had stood 13th, 6th, 11th, 3rd, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, and 5th.
- This ‘Gold’ medal had also helped her qualify for the 2026 Beijing Winter Olympics. This had made her the first female figure skater, in an individual event, aged 25 or more, to qualify to represent Team USA in the Winter Olympics since 1928.
