- While studying in high school, he used to play in the high school football team. He was a quarterback for Berkmar Patriots and played a starring role in their sole win in the 2009 season.
- In his early struggling days, he along with Migos band members used to offer to pay for DJs’ drink if he played their songs at the club.
- He developed a keen interest in rapping and music when he was in 7th grade. However, he didn’t start creating his music and rapping until two years later.
- He got his breakthrough after his band’s single, became a viral hit. It was so popular that decided to remix the song with Migos and added it to his album.
- In 2015, he was arrested by authorities for entering Georgia State University while in possession of marijuana and firearms. He decided to plead ‘Not Guilty’ to the charges.
- For the marijuana and firearms offense, he was initially handed 12 months prison sentence. However, after he paid the fine, his prison sentence was suspended.
- Quavo and his band Migos have been often criticized for their homophobic comments. It is even alleged that they refused to perform for because drag queens were supposed to perform with them.
- His band Migos was known by the name of Polo Club until 2010.
