He made an immediate impact by finishing 3rd at the Italian F4 Championship in 2015 and continued his promising run by finishing 4th at the 2015 ADAC Formula 4 Championship, 3rd at the 2017 Formula Renault Eurocup championship, and 3rd at the 2018 FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Robert Shwartzman Facts

    1. A child prodigy, Robert started karting from the age of just 5, in 2004. He competed at the karting level until 2013 and won several titles across Europe including the Easykart International Grand Final (2005) and the WSK Final Cup KFJ (2013). He had also stood 3rd at the 2013 KFJ World Championship and 4th at the 2013 KFJ European Championship.
    2. One of his most noteworthy performances came at the 2017 Formula Renault Eurocup championship where he won 6 races and earned 12 podium finishes. However, despite his stellar results, he had to be satisfied with the 3rd place.
    3. When he won the 2018 Toyota Racing Series, the premier open-wheel motorsport category event in New Zealand, he never finished any of the 15 races outside of the ‘Top 5’ positions and was the only driver in the season to achieve the feat. Surprisingly, he managed to win only one of those 15 races while there were 5 other drivers who won 2 or more races. In fact, the 2nd-placed Richard Verschoor had won 6 races compared to Robert’s 1 but Robert’s consistency helped him steal the title by 5 points (916 to 911).
    4. He won the FIA Formula 3 Championship in his debut season in the competition in 2019. In the very first race of the season, he had qualified on pole and finished the race in 2nd position. However, he was promoted as the rice winner after the event due to a time penalty inflicted on the original race winner .
    5. For the 2026 season, he was scheduled to compete in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, in partnership with , for Prema Racing. Unfortunately, the season was delayed due to the global coronavirus outbreak and tragically the pandemic claimed his father as one of its victims, in April 2026. Robert declared in an interview that he would dedicate all his future victories to his father who was a major positive influence on his career.
