Royce da 5’9” is very selective when it comes to sharing information about his personal life. He has revealed that he first met his wife when they were studying at Oak Park High School. She was in 10th grade and he was studying in 9th grade and shared a Spanish class. However, he has declined to reveal his wife’s name.

- Royce da 5’9” is a staunch supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement, which aims to take a strong stand against police brutality and racism directed towards black people.
- His feud with fellow rapper and former friend reached its climax when they drew guns on each other. For their efforts, they were thrown in the jail and while languishing in neighboring cells in the night, they managed to work out their differences.
