Tari had attended the James A. Garfield High School, a public school located in Seattle, Washington, United States. For his high school junior year, he took a transfer to the Federal Way High School, a public school located in Federal Way, a city in King County, Washington.
After his high school graduation, he joined the University of Cincinnati, a public research university in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is the oldest institution of higher education in Cincinnati and the 2nd largest university in the state of Ohio.
