    1. To avoid confusion with another rapper Young Chris (b. Christopher Francis Ries), he changed his stage name from “Yung Chris” to “YC”.
    2. He was a member of the rap group Block Boyz.
    3. In 2011, YC released his debut single titled Racks and it peaked at #4 on the US Hot Rap Songs (Billboard) chart, at #6 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (Billboard) chart, and at #42 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
