- She began acting as a child artist when she was 11 years old by appearing in a Telugu television show.
- Vithika made her film debut at the age of 15 in the Kannada film Anthu Inthu Preethi Banthu (2008). She has revealed that she landed her role by chance when she went along with her aunt, who is a stylist by profession, to the movie sets where she was discovered and offered a part.
- Along with playing the lead role in the Telugu film Prema Ishq Kaadhal, she also did the entire costume styling for the movie.
- In 2014, Vithika debuted in Tamil cinema with Uyir Mozhi, where she performed the role of a visually challenged girl. She has stated that to prepare for her role, she learned Braille and she was blindfolded for several days.
